Safe Computing chosen to replace PS2000 for Windows

Safe Computing Ltd’s Elite Payroll & HR application software was chosen by Kaupthing Singer & Friedlander to replace PS2000 for Windows.

Kaupthing Singer & Friedlander is one of the UK’s most established investment managers which also has a strong regional presence with offices around the UK and offshore. They manage funds on behalf of a range of private, charitable and institutional clients, both in the UK and internationally. The current headcount is around 650.

Kaupthing Singer & Friedlander HR Manager Andy Ferrier said, “We needed to change our PS 2000 system in order to accommodate the Inland Revenue’s requirements for FBI scheduled for tax year end 2004/2005. Safe Computing's Elite Payroll & HR application will provide us with a management information tool that will allow corporate reporting for all our branches. Whilst we have a fairly straightforward payroll we do have some very specific reporting requirements related to the FSA. Also we have a branch in the Isle of Mann and we needed to ensure that the new payroll system would accommodate this. Safe Computing have a unique approach to dealing with non-standard requests and at no time did anybody within the organisation ever say “NO” to any such request. Everybody involved in the project has been positive and enthusiastic. Kaupthing Singer & Friedlander intend to introduce the self-service functionality MyView, once the payroll and HR system are live.
