All or muffin! Safe Comic Relief bake sale

Employees of Safe 'rose' to the occasion when Emma Ratcliffe organised a charity bake sale, inspired by 'The Great Comic Relief Bake Off' (BBC). The event took place at Safe's head office in Leicester, on Monday 9 March. Keen bakers produced a variety of cakes and goodies, which were available to buy throughout the day with a grand total of £231.04 being raised for the Comic Relief charity.

Comic Relief, one of the UK's most high profile charities, celebrates its 30 years of fund raising in 2015. The charities two big annual fundraising events 'Red Nose Day' and 'Sport Relief' have raised a total of £1 billion since their inception. Funds raised are directed globally towards making 'real and lasting change' to the 'root causes of poverty and social injustice'. Speaking after the event, Emma said 'I was so pleased with all the bakers that got involved to help make it happen', adding that 'it was good fun to prepare and extremely rewarding, Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood would be proud!'
