Safe Computing unveils a new Business Intelligence service
Safe Computing, a leading software and services provider, today unveiled more details of a new service for their customers.
Starting with current Safe Tempest customers, whose users stem largely from the recruitment sector, Safe Business Intelligence will provide one BI platform in your staffing business that covers front, middle, and back office, whether or not you happen to be using the front or back office solution from Safe. Ultimately the aim is to extend this service to all Safe software customers. ‘We have developed the solution initially around middle office pay and bill, and plan then to extend it out to front and back office components of our suite, but whilst doing this we have created development opportunities available in our BI solution to populate it with data from other front and back office solutions, commercial director for Safe, Jason Martin, commented.
Jack Horlock, the head of the business intelligence offering for Safe added, ‘we give an agency measures as to the performance of their business during and at the end of each business cycle. The business intelligence solution will present information to customers in easy to follow graphical styles, and provide status and trend information in a clear 'traffic light' manner, allowing the user to drill through to their underlying key performance indicator (KPI) data.’ Safe will offer essentially four styles of information portrayal. These comprise standardised regular scorecard reporting, ad hoc reporting, graphical representations of information in easy to see dashboard views, and provision of data mining facilities.
There are a multitude of facts and figures Safe could help customers extract to assist with key business decisions, involving analysis of data regarding everything from profit and loss, to client invoicing patterns, even calculating comparisons to finite details such as ratios of clients invoiced to workers paid. Regarding benefits, we understand ‘it's about having cross functional business intelligence in one solution. We want to give an ability to start at the trend levels, and then drill right down to the detail. To be able to give people clear and concise views of their business, based on where they work, and what they do’ Jason Martin for Safe clarified.
The plan is to go live with this service very soon, and roll this out to other Safe products over the few months that follow. To find out more, speak to your account manager, or visit www.safecomputing.co.uk and click on ‘enquire online’.
